OPAB is a limited company with a capital of 5 million dirhams, newly created by shareholders experienced in the wood industry and whose vocation is the recycling and valorization of wood waste. OPAB is an integrated industry bringing together several activities:
PALLETS
The market of new pallets intended for fruit and vegetable exporters as well as manufacturers, has experienced a strong development in recent years.
PELLETS, COMPRESSED WOOD FIRE LOGS AND BRICKS
The activity of manufacturing compressed wood fire logs and bricks will make it possible to recycle all waste and sawdust from pallet and blockboard activities.
MOLDED DICE
In parallel with the logs and pellets activity, and in order to diversify the valorization and recycling of wood waste, we are planning a molded dice manufacturing line with an annual capacity of 3000 m3.

Green Process Indicators
The main activity of OPAB is the recycling and valorization of wood waste, we contribute to the valorization of 18,000T (25,000 m3) of wood waste in the form of pellets and molded dice. Considering that a hectare of forest produces an average of 160 m3 of wood, the volumes recycled by OPAB allow the preservation of the equivalent of 194 ha of forest annually.
Forest certification attests to the respect of the environmental, societal and economic functions of the forest. PEFC certification is based on two complementary mechanisms: forest certification and certification of companies that process wood to ensure the traceability of the material from the forest to the finished product. After the start of its activities, OPAB will also apply for PEFC certification for its entire process.
