In parallel with the logs and pellets activity, and in order to diversify the valorization and recycling of wood waste, we are planning a molded dice manufacturing line with an annual capacity of 3000 m3. Due to the constant increase in the price of pallet wood, the manufacture of molded dice from wood waste significantly helps to reduce the cost of the pallet. In fact, the dice represent 25% of the volume of pallets. The molded dice will initially be used to manufacture our own pallets. Thereafter, we plan to market them in Morocco through our distribution partnership with the group Robelbois/Comarbois and also in Southern Europe.
THE ADVANTAGES OF AFRIBLOCK
Sawdust from natural softwood and chips prepared from recycled wood are at the origin of AfriBlock’s chipboard dice. These are compressed under high temperature. A homogeneous and high-quality wood material is thus obtained, and can be remanufactured in different dimensions.
